From the Publisher:

In the Bible, the Lord asked that we not make promises unless we are sure that we can keep them. Lisa made a promise and has done everything in her power to keep that promise. a lesson her father needed to learn. Before he was able to practice keeping his promise, he lost the love of his daughter, his best friend, and he was about to lose the love of his son. Time was running out for all of them, but they didn’t know it.

My Review:

This book drew me into the lives of of everyone involved, but I have to say that the back story threw me at the beginning.  There was a lot of detail that was necessary for the story, but it was a little overwhelming at the beginning.  Once you got into the story it was tough to put down and you just wanted to keep turning the pages.

This book gives you a little of everything - suspense, romance, action and drama in a wholesome writing style that allows readers to focus on the issues at hand.

If you are looking for a Christian novel that will explore the connections between family, disfunction and the wider world, then you will want to add this to your TBR pile.
