Three New Fun Summer Romance E-Reads!

I love loading my e-reader up with fun and sexy reads that are just long enough for a good long stretch of watching the kids play or hanging out at the beach and these three just came out today and I think you should check them out too!

Her Secret, His Surprise

From the Publisher:

Conflict of interest is an understatement…

Since being disowned by her strict father, Cass Stone has spent her adulthood trying to prove him wrong. Her drive has led to more success than her family ever thought she’d achieve, and life is looking great. Not even an incredible and mysterious one night stand that leaves her a single mom can trip her up...until the father of her baby stumbles back into her life, as sexy and unreliable as ever.
Logan Alexander hasn’t forgotten the night he spent with Cass two years ago, but he never expects to end up undercover as her assistant. His job saves lives—like it should have saved his brother—and he can’t afford complications. It’s difficult enough to maintain his cover as a carefree wanderer when he realizes his attraction to Cass hasn’t faded...and then he meets Cass’s daughter.

My review:

This was a really fun read and a great twist on the classic one night stand romance that includes some great steamy scenes!  I love how this book moves from heat to surprise to distrust and lust to a happily ever after for everyone involved!

From the Publisher:

Adam Harkness pulled himself out of poverty to become one of the world's most respected Finance professors, but at the cost of his personal life. When a well-meaning friend gifts him with a dance course, Adam decides to attend one class out of courtesy, but no more than that. He has work to do, after all - or at least, that's what he tells himself.

After being bullied in high school, Julie Stanton took refuge in her studies. But now that her hard work has paid off and Julie has found success in her job, it's time to focus on finding the same happiness in the rest of her life.

When Adam walks into the same tango class that Julie signed up for, she recognizes him immediately as the professor whom she had a crush on in college. Both Adam and Julie have proven themselves to be excellent scholars. But when the attraction between them turns into something more, will they be able to open their hearts and learn a new lesson - how to love.

My Review:

This was a really fun read - and being the wife of a college professor, I identified with the world of academia that Adam Harkness lived in before his tango lessons!  I often see people who put their academic life before their personal one and who need a push to develop a personal life!  I've never thought of tango lessons... but hey, when it's a great idea, it's a great idea!

I loved the fact that two smart and lovable people were in the right place at the right time and you can read how they overcame themselves to find a happy ending!

From the Publisher:

One ring plus one wild night equals one crazy love
Sherry Robicheaux loves men. She loves love. And she loves an adventure. So when she meets a mysterious man while working backstage at a country music concert in Vegas, she’s all about what happens in Vegas staying there.
Country music superstar Tyler Blue just wants a weekend of anonymity…though there’s something about the spunky waitress with the streaks of purple hair that tempts him like no other. Until the next morning, when they both wake up with fuzzy memories…and rings on their fingers.
Convincing Sherry to maintain the ruse for his public image isn’t the hardest part—it’s reminding himself that their time spent playing husband and wife in her small town of Magnolia Springs can’t last. Tyler’s first love will always be music—and the road is no place for a sweet downhome girl.

My Review:

I loved this book! It was fun and refreshing and this book has lots of sensual tension without the steamy sex.  I especially loved the romantic tension between Sherry and Tyler and their path to learning to trust, respect and love each other after the crazy situation they found themselves in.  Both main characters were endearing and well written and you will not go wrong with this read if you want some sizzle with your beach read!
