Tyson Mini Chicken Sandwiches for after Soccer with #TysonGoodness #CBias

Saturday was a busy day for us this week and it's set the pattern for the next several months, because we signed Robyn up for soccer again!  She had such a wonderful time playing last year that when we had the opportunity came around again, she actually got up before noon so we could head down to sign up!

Her team will be having after school practices and then games on Saturdays and one thing that I know from last year is that she will be STARVING afterwards, so after signing her up, and a stop to play at the park with everyone, I headed off to Walmart to see what I could find in the way of soccer gear and after soccer snacks!  You can check out my whole shop (and some pictures cute pictures of the kids at the park) by clicking here and checking out my google+ story.

I've been reading so many of my fellow bloggers talking about the new #TysonGoodness Mini Chicken Sandwiches and I knew that they would make the perfect base for a quick, healthy snack for Robyn after practice or games... so I added them to my cart:
They've been so popular at my Walmart that I could only get the Mini Chicken Sandwiches with cheddar, but that's okay because Tyson uses real cheese so it was easy to take the cheddar off for one of the recipes I concocted to make these minis even more appealing to Robyn and her friends... I'm sure she'd love them just the way they are, but you know me, I have to kick things up a notch, so I picked up the stuff to make two different mini chicken sandwiches that pop!
My first recipe is really simple - take your yummy Mini Chicken Sandwich and add swiss cheese and ham to make it an outside in Cordon Bleu sandwich!

I slipped the Mini Chicken Sandwiches back into their protective plastic sleeve and followed the microwave directions and voila:

The second time, I microwaved the whole package according to the directions and when it came out of the microwave hot and perfect I:
 Sliced a roma tomato
and added a slice to each sandwich
tore some iceberg lettuce and added that
and finally added a dollop of yummy guacamole as the condiment!

Then, since Robyn and the boys were out practicing soccer in the yard, I took all my yummy creations out for her to test:

first bite - I think we have a winner!
So yummy that she had to cop a squat and finish them off!

Robyn loved both recipes and Erik even stole one of her sandwiches so I guess I'm heading back to Walmart to pick up more soon!

Right now, Walmart and Tyson have teamed up to help me AND YOU save $$ by offering a $5 Walmart card rebate when you purchase two packages of Tyson Mini Chicken Sandwiches

Tyson Mini Chicken Sandwiches are not available in all Walmart’s. There is a store locator at www.tysongoodness.com
