Wednesday Hodgepodge

1.  Chinese New Year will be celebrated on February 10th, and 2013 is the year of the snake. When did you last see a snake?  Are you okay around snakes or do they give you the shivers?

The last time I saw a snake was at the zoo behind glass... and that is where they're best, but I have also handled snakes and I'm not going to freak out if I see them out in nature - as long as I get enough warning and don't get bit...

2. The color red in Chinese culture usually means good luck.  Do you believe in luck?

I don't really believe in luck... I am not superstitious...

3. sledding-ice skating-building a snowman...if given a choice, which activity would you choose?  Which of the three have you done most recently?

I'd do them all... but I haven't done any recently

4.  Ralph Waldo Emerson is credited as saying, "The years teach much which the days never knew."  Where have you seen this quote played out in your own life?

Cumulative knowledge over time..

5. When was the last time you ate a cupcake?

I love cupcakes!  I had one last week!

6. What's something you can't say no to?

I can't say no to cupcakes...

7.  Are you a doodler?

I used to be when I didn't have as much technology, now I'm more of a fiddler... I fiddle with my email and other stuff instead of doodling...

8.  One of these days I am going to get a good night's sleep... hopefully soon.
