Saturday Blogger Interview with ... Tazim from Being Tazim!

I love featuring Canadian bloggers and today I have the honor of introducing you to a fellow Canadian whose blog I have been following for quite some time, Tazim of Being Tazim!  Let's dive right in and see what makes her tick:

1. Tell us a little bit about your blog:

BeingTazim.com is a blog that focuses on reader service. From smart tips on how to organize your home and life, to smart ways to use and enjoy technology.

2. How long have you been blogging and what do you love about it?

I've been blogging in this form for 3 years, but I had my own websites that I ran when I was a teenager.

3. Who is the person or group behind the blog?

Most of the writing is done by myself, but I occasionally enlist my best friend to write a post or two.

4. What hobbies/interests do you have?

I enjoy looking at, reading about and working with interiors/home décor. I'm an avid social media lover, and also an avid reader. My favourite thing to do is enjoy nature—going for walks, travelling, camping. I'm a creative person, who likes to paint, craft and do DIY projects. I used to have a handmade stationery business and also one for handmade jewelry.

5. If you could invite 4 people (real or fictional, living or dead) to a dinner party, who would you invite and what would you serve?

I would invite people who I would have something to talk about with, but who would also do a bit of the talking. On my list: Felicia Day (who I think would be fairly shy, but who I would hopefully get to talk to as the evening went on), Kristen Bell (she seems really sweet and funny), my best friend, and Aimee Mann.

6. I can’t live without…

My iPad and coffee.

7. Something people would be surprised to know about me is…

I'm Canadian, but lived in Houston, Texas from age 2 to 12.

8. Three of my favorite blogs to visit are:
Decor8 (http://www.decor8blog.com) was one of the first blogs I ever read. I am inspired by Holly Becker's journey and hope to one day be successful in the same way - she has several books and makes money with online classes and in-person workshops.
SF Girl by the Bay (http://www.sfgirlbybay.com) Victoria, a home décor blogger, has great style, lives in San Francisco and shares really different and interesting things on her blog.
DesignSponge (http://www.designsponge.com/)

9. Three of my favorite posts on my blog are:
 - About fresh starts
-About organizing your creative space
-About standing at a cross-roads

It was so great getting to know Tazim and her blog!  I hope you clicked on at least one of her favorite posts and are ready now to connect via Social Media: Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/beingtazim, Twitter: http://www.twitter.com/beingtazimGoogle Plus: https://plus.google.com/u/0/110457940880729866936/posts, and Pinterest: http://pinterest.com/beingtazim/
