#Giveaway and Review - Carmex Healing Cream and Lotion

Once again, being part of the Carmex Blog Squad has given me the opportunity to test out two more great products and sent me this fabulous set (which I also get to giveaway to one reader)
Having fallen for Carmex lip products, I was excited when I got an email announcing that I'd their package - this time it was their Healing Cream and Lotion products.

Now, you might think that one wouldn't need both a cream and a lotion, but they really are different.  The lotion is for more everyday uses and the cream is definitely for more serious dry skin.

I opened the cream first and squirted a little into my hand... I hadn't read anything about them, but I thought that my hands were 'really dry' after cleaning the kitchen.  I squeezed about the same amount as I would have done with a normal cream or lotion and quickly realized my mistake... With that squirt, I did my hands, my arms and my feet!  I then read the information that came with the package which said that the Healing Cream was 'CONCENTRATED' and I now concur - the next time I used it, I squeezed less than a quarter of what I would normally have used and it was still more than enough!

Part of that is I don't think my hands qualify as 'driest skin' in the Carmex way of thinking -  but I have to say that my elbows and the soles of my feet have never felt softer - since that is where I use it now primarily.

For everything else, I use the healing lotion - which is thick, creamy and has a pleasant aloe scent.  This product is great for your every day moisturizing needs - and my hands and arms feel moisturized without feeling oily or greasy.  I also use the lotion on Erik's sensitive skin with no problems.

I also love that they sent travel sizes too - they now reside in my purse and diaper bag.
