Our Responses

1. March 10th is Middle Name Pride Day - are you proud of your middle name?  What is it and is there a story behind it?

W. - I was named after both grandparents.  With my name being so generic otherwise, I do tend to publish using my first middle name.

H - Anne is a familial middle name - my grandmother has traced back at least five generations and all of the first born girls have Anne as a middle name - and yes I do like it!  My great-grandmother liked it so much that she went by Annie.

2. What makes you happy?

H - A good book and a bubble bath or a date night with my hubby.

W.  - I am generally a happy person because I choose to be.  Though I have to say I enjoy some peace and quiet every now and then.

3. What do you consider to be 'middle age'?

W. - I am apparently am now or at least tomorrow.

H - I think middle age is a state of mind... as long as you feel young, you are young!

4. What is your fondest memory of your grandparents?

W. - My grandfather used to come up to Canada from Arizona every summer.  He would take care of us in his unique fashion.

H - My favorite times were at my grandparents cottage - just sitting around the kitchen table playing games, taking a boat ride to the marina for a treat or heading down the road to pick raspberries and blueberries!
And here is our 5th Question:

What advice do you have for Wayne on his last day as a 39 year old?  Yep, he turns 40 tomorrow, so please come back and wish him a happy one!
