Blogger Interview with Ashley, the Crunchy Frugalista!

Welcome to another exciting installment of my weekly blogger interview column! I am so pleased to invite Ashley from Crunchy Frugalista to stop by and share a bit about herself and her blog with us today!

Crunchy Frugalista

1. Tell us a little bit about your blog:

Crunchy Frugalista is blog that aims to inspire. Whether you are looking to live a little bit greener, find a new craft or recipe, or just need some advice about living life to the fullest you can find it here.

2. How long have you been blogging and what do you love about it?

I have been blogging for two years now. It's been an absolute blessing because I get to help people, create awesome things, and share the craziness that is my life as a homeschooling mom.

3. Who is the person or group behind the blog?

I am the main author, Ashley Sears aka Crunchy, of the blog. We do have great guest authors from time to time, but the bulk of the blog comes for the craziness that swirls around in my head 24/7.

4. What hobbies/interests do you have?

Where to begin?! I love to create things, I am always crocheting, decorating, upcycling, and writing. When I am not busy inside, I love spending lots of time in my garden, canoeing, camping, and playing outside with my kids.

5. If you could invite 4 people (real or fictional, living or dead) to a dinner party, who would you invite and what would you serve?

I always stink at this question! I would probably invite Oscar Wilde, Jane Austen, the captain of the Sea Shepphard from Whale Wars, and Paula Dean. I would have to pay homage to my down South roots and have Paula Dean whip us up some great goodies!

6. I can’t live without… CHOCOLATE and Mr. Crunchy, aka my husband ;)

7. Something people would be surprised to know about me is…

I collect spoons. You know those ones you pick up on vacation. My grandmother started me on it when I was about 8, because she had a collection that I loved. When she passed a few years back, I actually inherited her entire collection.
