Wednesday Hodge Podge

1. What is ONE thing or area in your home or life you hope to report is completely organized when 2013 draws to a close? Do you have a plan to make it happen?

My blog stuff - both the accounting and the 'accumulation of stuff' need better organization... no plan yet how to accomplish that though...

2. What's the worst uniform you've ever had to wear for a job?

The only time I've had to wear a uniform was when I worked for Parks & Recreation in Toronto... and the worst thing was the shorts they made us wear in the first year I worked there... They were navy with a horizontal green stripe and unisex... otherwise it was a t-shirt or polo shirt which was okay...

3. What was your last kitchen 'mishap'? This question comes to you courtesy ofBetty who blogs over at A Glimpse Into Midlife...everyone go say hi to Betty!

I burned a frozen pizza for the boys a few weeks ago... forgot to set the timer...

4. How do you protect yourself from other people's negativity?

Walk away or try to help them find the positive

5. Who in your family do you most resemble (physically)? If you have children, who do people say they favor? Do you agree?

I look like my mom and grandma mostly... although I am taller

6. January 8th is National Bubble Bath Day...will you be celebrating?

I am preparing my tub so I can celebrate as soon as I finish this blog post!

7. Some of the 'world's best winter festivals' are - Mardi Gras (New Orleans),Quebec Winter Festival (Canada), Sundance Film Festival (Park City, Utah), Rio Carnivale (Brazil), Sapporo Snow Festival (Japan), VeniceCarnival (Italy) and the Harbin Ice Festival (Northern China). Of those listed (and if cost were not a factor) which would you most like to attend and why?

I'd love to visit them all... but if I had to pick just one it would be Italy... because the top of my bucket list is a tour of Europe!

8. Thank goodness for Moms/Girls Night Out!  It really recharges the batteries when I get a chance to go and hang out with the girls... met up with Heather from I'd Rather Be Changing Diapers and several other friends for sushi and chit chat and it was so much fun!  It's going to be my last one for a while since Wayne is teaching 4 nights a week through the end of February... but I really do appreciate the opportunity to get out without the kids!
