How many of us spend time in the grocery store reading product labels?  As a mom (wife and daughter) of people with allergies, I have been reading labels for as long as I've been grocery shopping - and one of the scariest labels to read are the sweets and candies - with chemical dyes and shellacs, unpronounceable additives and so much more... well, this Halloween, we're getting UNJUNKED and ditching the artificial flavors, synthetic colors and other nasty additives and we've become fans of UNREAL™ candies!



Erik and I recently held a play date at a local park to share our find with my fellow Mom friends and to give them a chance to taste test some fabulous new candy - just in time for Halloween!

Only one of the kids remarked that there was anything different about the Unreal41 - Candy Coated Chocolates as compared to the Junky variety - and that was to say that there were 'cool new colors' - and one of the moms mentioned that the colors were very 'Autumn' - and appropriate for Halloween and Thanksgiving!  We all decided that color was secondary to taste and soon everyone was too busy popping Unreal41 into their mouths and savoring the flavor to say much more!

Now, being allergic to chocolate, I relied on my fellow moms and kids to rate the flavor and experience of eating these wonderful chocolates - and they all said that hands down, they were digging the flavor. One mom did remark that there was a salty aftertaste - but it wasn't unpleasant - just different!  Another mom said "You can actually taste ALL of the flavors in the Unreal8 - the nouget, peanuts, caramel and of course, the chocoate!"  and as a visual learner, I can see them all too:

What my hubby loves about Unreal candy is that it fits into his healthier lifestyle when he wants a sweet treat!  When he wants to indulge in a treat, the Peanut Butter Cup Unreal77 is a great choice!  He's on a low carb diet and splurging 20 carbs (17 net) is something he can do on occasion when he's been very careful, especially when compared with the name brand cups that contain 21g of sugar and 24 carbs!
