We had a #DipDipHooray night with Hasbro, Heinz, Tyson & Ore-Ida #cbias

After being sick all weekend, I was starting to feel better today, so I decided that I'd head to Walmart and create a #DipDipHooray night for my family to thank them for stepping up while I was under the weather!

I decided that it would be a great time to have a Hasbro Family Game Night and went looking for a fun new game to play:

I also know that I'm still recovering, so a simple Meal Solution was also a priority... luckily I was inspired by #DipDipHooray to pick up some Tyson Chicken Nuggets, Heinz Ketchup and Ore-Ida French Fries so that I could come home and unlock the secrets of Diptoplay.com

I was on a mission to find a yummy, fun and easy meal that everyone would appreciate... you can see my complete Walmart Photo Story in Google Plus by clicking here.

Because I was under the weather, I'm behind on my blog and on family stuff too... I'm sad that we missed out on entering the DipDipHooray Sweepstakes... but there is still lots of fun stuff to explore on the Diptoplay.com website and you can still enter your UPC codes to unlock the game of the week!

All you need to do is have the UPC codes from Heinz Tomato Ketchup, Ore-Ida French Fries and Tyson Chicken Nuggets and you'll be able to unlock a great game!  I won't reveal which one it is... you'll have to head over and find out for yourself!

While I was in Walmart, I was inspired to create a little something extra by bumping up the Tyson Chicken Nuggets I bought and transforming them into a chicken cordon bleu casserole! I used: Tyson Chicken Nuggets, Ultra Thin Swiss Cheese Slices, Sliced ham

and layered them in a 9x13 casserole pan - nuggets, cheese, ham, cheese and baked for 12 minutes in a 425 degree oven!

I also made some yummy Ore-Ida Extra Crispy Crinkle Fries and put on some 'regular' chicken nuggets for the boys:

I rounded out the meal with some yummy cauliflower and of course a big squirt of Heinz Ketchup for dipping and our plates looked like:

Wayne and Robyn agreed that it was a neat way to dress up ordinary chicken, Robyn would have preferred that I make the cordon bleu into chicken sandwiches!  Do you  have a way that you dress up chicken nuggets?

Once we cleared up from dinner, it was time to break out our new game... and after scouring Walmart for the perfect family game, I decided on Operation!  It's tough coming up with a family game that meets everyone's needs - something Erik can mess around with, Liam can learn from and Robyn can enjoy is tough... do you think I made the right choice for tonight?

I love seeing all three of the kids (and us adults) playing together and Operation was a great choice - it doesn't require a lot of reading and it has multiple settings to give the youngsters and us oldies a challenge and a great way to connect together!

You don't need an excuse to plan a #DipDipHooray Family game night... just having a chance to be together and having a great time is reason enough!  Which games are your family's favorites?
