The first thing I did was head to the SAVE – San Antonio Vacation Experience website to check out hotels! I was really surprised that there was a wide range of hotels in all price points and they all had great deals! With our family of five I always look for suites hotels - just so we get some extra square footage in our room... and the Drury Inn and Suites looks great - the deal is good and you can save over $15 off the posted web rates. What I like about this hotel, beyond the suites is that they offer free breakfast and a free hot and cold happy hour too!
I also like that it's right in the heart of things on the Riverwalk - which means we can park and walk to dozens of great attractions - I'm thinking that our family would love to try:
The Alamo Trolley - with a $2 off (per person) coupon, we can save another $10 as a family! Or we could do a whole day tour with the Alamo Tours save $17 ($5 an adult and $2 per child and Erik would be free) and get to see the Alamo and more!
Another great place is the San Antonio Children's Museum where you can save 20% off admissions which are $8 each - meaning we'd save another $8 off retail!
