Free Kindle Reads

I had a conversation the other day with a friend about e-books and reading and she said "Well I don't have a device right now that is comfortable to read on for long periods of time, but I keep seeing one or two day free kindle read events and things.  I told her what I'm going to tell you... the e-books you "purchase for free" are yours to keep forever!  They will sit in your "To Be Read" pile til you are ready to read them, so why not take the opportunity to get some fun freebies when they are offered and don't let it pass you by, just because you aren't ready to invest in your e-reader (yet)
