9 at 9 ~ An interview with ...

I am pleased that I was able to sit down with Tara from Crunchier by the Day and ask her the nine pertinent questions that all of my guests answer!  I hope you enjoy reading about her answers and I encourage you to visit her blog and check out her suggestions for other great blogs to read!

1. Tell us a little bit about your blog:

My blog is about all the ups and sometimes downs of being a mom. I am a SAHM and started my blog to help my future sister-in-law expand her company's visibility. It is great being able to share our experiences as well as get feedback from others who have "been there, done that".

2. How long have you been blogging and what do you love about it?

I have been blogging since October 2011. I love the blogger friends I have met and have had the pleasure of calling friends. So many awesome bloggers helped me out as I was just getting started! Of course, the chance to review products and do giveaways is also a lot of fun!

3. Who is the person or group behind the blog?

The (wo)man "behind the curtain" is me. My name is Tara and I'm 29-years-old with a husband of 7 years and a 2-year-old daughter. It is hard to believe Hubby and I have been a couple for almost a decade; we've been through a lot together and he is my rock. I'm a little quirky, kinda snarky, and tend to say what I think before I think about the way it will sound when it comes out of my mouth. That's why blogging is so great sometimes...I get the chance to edit myself.

4. What hobbies/interests do you have?

I love to crochet. That's one of many hobbies that include everything from reading to (hand) quilting. I also love to watch movies and have a few select TV shows that I can't live without.

5. If you could invite 4 people (real or fictional, living or dead) to a dinner party, who would you invite and what would you serve?

Definitely Kate Middleton. She seems so well put-together, but I think she'd also be a lot of fun to just chat with. My Great-Grandfather who passed away in 1996 would be another. I'd have to say Hermione Granger and my husband's grandmother (who died in 1995). I'm most comfortable serving "comfort foods" and I would most likely make chicken and dumplings with some fresh mashed potatoes, corn, and a garden salad.

6. I can’t live without… Ranch dressing...or chocolate.

7. Something people would be surprised to know about me is…  I love researching and learning new things. I have even studied Druidism and Wicca as well as Christianity as part of my journey of self-discovery.

8. Three of my favorite blogs to visit are (includue urls)

The Gnome's Mom http://thegnomesmom.com/
Life With My Littleshttp://lifewithmylittles.blogspot.com/ and
Baby Rabies http://www.babyrabies.com/
