New Feature: 9 at 9am - A Blogger Interview - Becky from whatutalkingboutwillis.info

Welcome to 9 at 9am - a new blog feature on Acting Balanced. Every Saturday at 9am I will be interviewing a fellow blogger about their blog, life and a few other interesting questions... to start off, I asked for a guinea pig volunteer and my friend Becky from whatutalkingboutwillis.info was one of several wonderful bloggers who let me pick her brain....

1. Tell us a little bit about your blog:

When I started my blog I wasn't sure what direction I wanted to go but I knew for sure I wanted to help promote others whether it be the small business person or a company. As time has went on I have learned so much-and although I want to continue to help others, I would like it to be a reflection of me.

2. How long have you been blogging and what do you love about it?

I have been blogging for over 3 years or more. Seriously for the past year; before it was more like this is how my day went etc. Now it is more with a purpose. I love connecting with other bloggers and the more I connect the more I learn. Sometimes it is reaching out of your comfort zone.

3. Who is the person or group behind the blog?

I am a self-employed, stay -at -home business person. I wear the hat of blogger, web host/designer, soybean candle maker, mother, wife and friend. I wish I could do one thing and be happy in that-but instead I am someone who loves blogging, loves helping people further their businesses, and I enjoy pouring candles.

4. What is your favorite thing about blogging?

I would say my most favorite thing is the people...well most of the time..lol bloggers as you probably know can be scary.

5. If you could invite 4 people (real or fictional, living or dead) to a dinner party, who would you invite and what would you serve?

The first 2 people would be my Grandpa Ryan (who passed away 11 years ago this past Christmas) and his wife, my Grandma Ryan (who passed away a year ago Christmas Eve). I would invite them because they would be so proud of me and how far I have come. I would invite Johnny Cash because I have loved him from the time I was old enough to dance in front of the tv. I know he wasn't 'the best man ever' but his heart was real and plus I would love to have interviewed him for my blog..lol. Since you said I could pick 4, my 4th one would be Ronald Reagan. His life inspired me when I was in highschool and like my Grandpa Ryan, and Johnny Cash, there was just something about their smiles that warmed my heart. Ronald Reagan would have been awesome -in my book to interview also. I would serve my baked steak with gravy, mashed potatoes, green beans & rolls... lol (its my best meat & potatoes dish I make).

6. I can’t live without… Coffee with creamer.

7. Something people would be surprised to know about me is… I hate to shop..lol & I despise negativity.

8. Three of my favorite blogs to visit are:
Not a Perfect Moms Blog www.notaperfectmomsblog.com
The Bloggess TheBlogess.com
The Thrifty Ninja www.thethriftyninja.net among many others.

9. Three of my favorite posts on my blog are: http://whatutalkingboutwillis.info/2011/11/02/baking-with-grandma/
