Holiday Gift Guide Review: My Friendship Bracelet Maker

One of the things I struggle with as a mom is teaching my kids to give of themselves rather than always buying gifts... my family and I have made gifts for each other over the years and I have to say that the homemade gifts are the ones I'll treasure most...

Robyn has taken the handmade spirit to heart and this year, with the help of her new Friendship Bracelet maker from http://www.myfbm.com, has been busy creating fabulous one of a kind friendship bracelets for family and friends!

I remember the craze in the '80's when everyone was trading friendship bracelets, friendship pins and a whole host of other things - and when I was a kid I spent hours with a host of embroidery thread pinned to my jeans as I struggled to keep it from twisting and turning so it would lay straight!  That isn't a problem with the new Friendship Bracelet maker - it keeps the threads separated and in order, lets you start and stop when you need to and helps you create beautiful works of bracelet art quickly and without headaches!  The Friendship Bracelet maker comes with 56 precut threads in 14 different colors, and slide-out tray with inside storage keeps strings organized, which I love because it keeps everything neat and tidy!

Well ever since Robyn opened her Friendship Bracelet Maker, she's been turning out fabulous looking bracelets for everyone! This is one gift that will keep giving for years to come!

Now that she's getting more proficient, she's started visiting the mfbm.com website to check out all of the cool patterns!  What I like about the website is that the patterns are labeled for beginner, intermediate and advanced users and so many of them come with video tutorials!
One of my favorites is the Cancer Cause Ribbon tutorial:

Along the same lines, you can also get back to another cool retro trend, the ribbon barrette with the Ribbon Barrette maker:
