Friday Fragments

TGIF!  Or at this point will be Friday when I wake up... hopefully I'll get to sleep long enough for the calendar to switch over... but Erik is in a growth spurt and hungry all the time, not to mention teething... so I've been having to get up and soothe him in the middle of the night...

I'm so proud of Robyn!  She brought home her report card today and she is a STRAIGHT A Student!!! This is especially remarkable since she is taking three high school credits - English 1, Geometry and Spanish 1!

Along the same lines, Robyn is going on a field trip tomorrow to check out two potential high schools... I can't believe that her applications have to be turned in six weeks from now!!!

I still don't have Liam's progress report - I think it's because they started two weeks later than the other students... but I'm sending a note to his teacher to find out when I should be getting his IEP report and his first real report card!!

For my local Charleston readers who run (or anyone who wants to travel to Charleston to run...), consider checking out the James Island Connector Run (and Bike Ride)  - November 5th, 2011 and there are three options - 10K, 5K or 10K Bike Ride!  The ride benefits university and college students with special needs by providing scholarships through the Gavalas Kolanko Foundation!

Wayne is as busy as ever... he's on the board for the run I just mentioned, and despite having finished with one of his courses, he seems to be busier than he was when he was teaching two nights a week... it's advising season!

Me, well I'm just treading along trying to keep my head above water... it feels like the world is spinning faster and faster... I want to get off ...

I have some great giveaways going on right now so make sure you check the top of the blog to see if there is something you want to enter!

Well, it's time for me to tuck myself in and hope the sleep fairy dusts me liberally tonight so I'll sign off and hopefully get around to visiting everyone tomorrow!
