The Snap Fashion Jewelry kit is a fun way to personalize your look and I really like that the snaps are interchangeable so you can keep creating without having to spend a lot more money! I also really like that this art kit lets you take fabric and other finds from around your house to personalize the jewelry. This kit would be great for a sleep over or summer activity with your child. The step by step directions were easy to follow and the kit itself was easy to set up.
The kit contained:
- A book bedazzled with ideas
- Custom customizable snap maker
- 25 domes and backs snaps to cover with fabric
- 5 necklace and bracelet snaps
- 2 snap rings
- Necklace with hook and clasp
- Charm attachment
- 16 - 1.5" precut fabric circles (8 styles, 2 each)
- 12" ribbon
- 12 birthstone gems
- 5ml bottle of glue
I worried that Robyn might be too old at 13 for a kit like this, but that's the beauty of it... she was able to create things that suited her mood and personality - and she recycled pieces of old favorite clothing so that her buttons had special meaning and wearability for her! Robyn's only complaint was that the rings were very juvenile looking - but that's to be expected from a kit like this. SmartLab recommends this kit for ages 7 and up, and I agree.
The SmartLab Snap Fashion Jewelry Studio retails for $24.99.

fun! Robyn wants to try out the All Natural Spa Day kit - and I have to say that it sounds intriguing, even to me.
