Friday Fragments

Yesterday's trip to the Pedi was pretty successful... it only took an hour and a half to be seen for our well visit... it's the only thing that frustrates me about our practice... the nurse calls us back within 10 minutes of our alloted time, but we wait in a teeny tiny room for 45 minutes to see the doctor for 10 minutes and then wait again for the nurse to come back in to do the vaccinations...

My little 'bubba' is in the 99th percentile... 19.7lbs and 27 inches long with a 17.25" head circumference.
Erik is also meeting his milestones, so that is good...

He's been really fussy all afternoon and evening, don't blame him... shots are no fun, but he didn't have this reaction to his 2 month shots, so I let my guard down and wasn't as prepared for it... thank goodness Wayne picked up some baby tylenol on the way home... so now he's sleeping better.

Speaking of sleeping better - if any of my SPD/Autism readers are reading this, I'm searching for a good weighted blanket supplier... and also considering some sort of bed wrap or something for Liam, who is having a hard time staying in bed and asleep... and even getting to sleep for that matter - any assistance or ideas would be a great help.

I'm so excited ... I'm having a mommy's lunch out - I'm going to the Sponsors' tasting at the Charleston Wine and Food festival... and this year I'm going to thoroughly enjoy it - even if I have to pump and dump... last year I couldn't figure out why I was feeling so sick and nauseous and I skipped most of the tasting because I was feeling yech... turns out I was barely pregnant at the time... good thing I skipped the wine tasting...

Erik is going to hang out with Wayne and ogle check out flirt with co-eds at the university while I indulge :)

Depending on the weather and other factors, I may be headed to some other festival events - Two of Wayne's students are doing the live surveying to get feedback for the festival and if the weather is poor, I may have to go and help get it done quickly... shucks darn... (I was in market research before becoming a stay at home mom)

I'll hopefully get a report and some pics up over the weekend...

It's getting late and the kids are sleeping, so I'm going to turn in and get my beauty sleep ...

Ciao for now and don't forget to check out the other fragmented lives at:
