Meet Me on Monday

I was trying to get some blogging done last night before I crashed - you'll see that was an epic fail... partly because I was surprised to find out that Java from Never Growing Old, and the host of Meet Me on Monday is taking a blogging break and stepping away from her blog... It's perfectly understandable - real life is way more important than blogging... but I'm a creature of habit, so - I'm going to keep posting Meet Me On Monday here on Acting Balanced, and add a linky for anyone else who wants to answer the 5 questions I'm posing this week. Please feel free to email me or post questions for next week in the comments section...

To play along, just copy these questions to your blog and answer them and come back and link up here to share your answers.  By next week I'll have a button made, but for now please feel free to just link to this post.

Questions:
1. What is your favorite pair of shoes?
2. Cake or Pie and what flavor?
3. What was the last book you read?
4. If you could buy one piece of technology/electronics what would it be and why - price is no object?
5. Where do you do your best thinking?

My Answers:

1. What is your favorite pair of shoes?
I am usually a pretty conservative footwear girl - loafers or ballet flats, but a few years ago I bought a pair of fabulous Michael Kors 4" silver and gold heels and now that I'm not pregnant, I wear them out whenever I'm going out sans baby...

2. Cake or Pie and what flavor?
Pie - two favorites - rhubarb and key lime... I like my pies, like I like my friends - just a little tart ;-)

3. What was the last book you read?
The last book I finished was the Portable Pediatrician by the Drs. Sears for review here on AB.  I'm currently reading an ARC of Elizabeth I for a future review.

4. If you could buy one piece of technology/electronics what would it be and why - price is no object?
Ooh, this is a tough one... I want three things right now - an Ipad, a new laptop and a wireless printer - the laptop probably wins out because this one is starting to show it's age and needs a new battery and other work...

5. Where do you do your best thinking?
In the shower/tub... there's something about running water that helps clear my head (or maybe it's just that I escape to the bathroom for some me time), but I get some great inspiration there...
