I like to quote intelligent people who say great things... my current mantra when asked for a quote comes from Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.:

“The function of education is to teach one to think intensively and to think critically... Intelligence plus character - that is the goal of true education.”

2. Have you ever made something you wore out in public?

Yep!  I've sown my own clothing... shorts, skirts and even a top, but it's been a while... I've also made jewelry and accessories before...

3. When was the last time you used a telephone (not a cell phone)?

I phoned my sister this morning to wish her a happy birthday!   I used our home phone...

4. What was the first recording you bought with your own money?

I'm pretty sure it was a Bon Jovi cassette tape... I was lucky in that my dad had an astounding record collection so I didn't have to buy much music at all...
